The ESV Bible

The English Standard Version (ESV) is an “essentially literal” English translation of the Bible first published in 2001 by Crossway Bibles. It was created by a team of more than 100 evangelical scholars and pastors to bridge the gap between word-for-word accuracy and modern readability.

In this 2016 edition there is a 40 day reading plan and introductions to the Old and new testaments.

A most affordable bible.
